Tinley Construction
Custom carpentry & remodeling
A content-driven marketing site for a Southern California carpentry firm — owner-editable via Sanity, with a consultation form that fires instant email and SMS alerts.

The challenge
A custom-carpentry firm was stuck on a dated WordPress site it couldn’t easily update, and leads were slipping through the cracks. It needed a credible, owner-editable presence that turns visitors into consultation requests.
“A homeowner books a consultation, and the owner hears about it within seconds — no lead left waiting.”
The approach
- 01
Rebuilt the site ground-up in Next.js with all content modeled in Sanity so the owner can edit copy, hours, team, and portfolio.
- 02
Built a consultation request form as the primary conversion path, persisting each lead to the CMS.
- 03
Wired instant email and SMS alerts so a new lead reaches the owner immediately.
- 04
Structured the portfolio and testimonials to establish craftsmanship and trust quickly.
Design iteration
Interview-driven requirements
The build followed an interview-derived requirements table rather than guesswork — hours, service area, testimonials, and the exact lead-routing behavior were pinned down with the owner up front, then translated directly into the CMS schema and alerting flow.
